Loft Extension, Kitchen Extension and Full Refurbishment at Earlshall Road, Eltham, London SE9

The client for this project engaged with us early and we helped guide them through the planning and design stage through to finally appointing a builder. Thankfully we were selected as the detail involved and the desire to retain and reinstate original features made for a really interesting project. The project kicked off as quite a large rear extension and first floor alterations but a planning submission was submitted partway through after the decision was made to get the loft converted into a double bedroom and en-suite at the same time. At the same time as the extension and loft conversion was a complete refurbishment of the house, new plumbing and new electrics, and some landscaping to the front and rear of the property.

Interestingly as part of the loft project, we removed the entire first floor ceiling and created a new ceiling floor divide for the loft which greatly increased the head height in the loft and made it a really good sized double bedroom.

There were many bespoke suppliers to manage and schedule works around which took some time but we really think it was worth the wait. We are glad the family is over the moon with their new home.
